I know the one year and 20 pounds rule but I am asking because I was told that I had to adjust my sons age for everything but feeding...so even though he was born 8 months ago...his adjusted age is 6 months and 3 weeks since he was born five weeks early. So does this mean that I need to wait till hes 1 year and 5 weeks (adjusted age 1 year) or is it really just a year?
My 9 month old son is 25 pounds and is the size of a 18 months old . What are the guidelines for when to put in a front facing car seat ?
When can you change your baby rear-facing car seat facing forward?
Is there a law that says you have to wait a year to have your child in a safety seat facing forward ? My nephew is 7 months and 19 pounds , my sister had heard that at 20 kilos and one year you can turn your car seat . I am very interested in this being a child care provider should know ....
I know this is the rule , I wondered what was behind him.
My 11 month old will play a 20th next month . My oldest son who is turning 4 this week is in need of a new car seat , so I was going to replace them all and put my youngest daughter in a car seat facing forward . She is very long and over 20 pounds . I live in Arizona and no car seat laws that say I have to wait until their first birthday , but I wanted to know what other moms to do before you do it . Thank you !
